Born/raised in New Orleans, moved to Seattle for a year after Katrina, but now I'm back. I love learning languages, shooting guns, traveling, reading dark fiction or political philosophy, watching action movies, calligraphy, and eating crème brulée.
I'm a publicist for an international arms dealer. No, seriously, my corporation makes war machines and sells them to foreign governments. Deal hippies. I'm also a writer, but that doesn't pay the bills - yet. I turn out a bit of everything from dark fantasy fiction, to consumer interest articles, to business copywriting.
I'm married to a crazy sexy mad scientist named Michael (aka: Transanalog), an electrical engineer who invents mutant musical electro-bits in our attic. We have a new baby daughter named Évariste, born 2/27/08, and we have two little doggies, a whippet named Laveau, and a jack russell terrier named Nikita.
