I'm going to try again.I have a LiveJournal account and I like it a lot, and I like my friends there too, the problem is that once I start writing, journaling, whatever, I can't stop. I obsess over it. I check to see if I get responses constantly and it seriously gets in the way of life. Say nothing about my compulsive editing of what I've already written.So, I'll write for a few months, going absolutely nuts, driving everybody crazy with my failure of a sense of humor, then I'll get bothered at the fact that I'm spendng so much time on the thing and I'll disappear for a year. In fact, last time I wrote on LJ was probably exactly a year ago, and then by summertime I quit agan. Maybe it's not so hard to explain now that I think about it. Winter blahs, boredom = obsessive writing. Summer arrives, I find other stuff to do = disappearing act. Anyway, I'll make an effort at self-censorship as well as try to maintain some consistancy...we'll see where it gets me. We'll see how it affects the world.
