The Nukes

THE NUKES , TRASH SURF AND HOT- ROD INSTUMENTAL

About Me

Trash surf band based in Edinburgh. Baratone Guitar, eiectric Bass and Drums. Featuring ex-members of; the Radium cats, The Sativa drummers, The Shamen and The Thanes. The Nukes have a new Cd ’Picnic in Peking’ out now on Blip Records. Recorded last year at Toerag studio, London, by Liam Watson. The album offers 12 original instrumental songs. Influenced by Dick Dale, The Ventures, Link Wray, The Tornados, Ennio Morricone and John Barry. The band are closer to early 60’s British instrumental bands than the American. A time where the big bands of the 50’s reinvented themselves as a smaller combo, with emphasis on good melodies, not just powerful sounds. supports with 5678’s The Chalets, Mystery Juice, The Thanes
