I was born to Kyle Riker and Betty Riker in Valdez, Alaska, Earth in 2335. In 2350, my father abandoned me an my mom. My mother had died some years before. I resented my father for this and I didnt speak to him again until 2365, fifteen years later.In 2353 I entered Starfleet Academy and I graduated in 2357, finishing eighth in my class.
My first assignment was on board the USS Pegasus where I served as an ensign. When the crew realized that the ship's captain was conducting illegal experiments into Cloaking and Phase Change technology, they mutinied. I took up arms to defend my captain although the experiments violated The Treaty of Algeron between Starfleet and the Romulans-a treaty. Among the earliest assignments of my career were on the Excelsior-class USS Potemkin, on the planet Betazed, where I met my future wife Deanna Troi. I then served as a lieutenant and then a lieutenant commander on the USS Hood. I had two cruises on the Hood, my second was 2361 – 2364 as XO. During my time on the Potemkin, I was involved in a transporter accident while beaming up from a planet; that accident created an exact copy of myself a brother if you want to say his name is Thomas Riker.
2364, I requested and received a transfer to the USS Enterprise-D, the Starfleet flagship of that time, where I served as XO under Captain Jean-Luc Picard. During the Borg invasion of 2366-7, I was field promoted to Captain of the Enterprise after Captain Picard was abducted and transformed into the drone/spokesperson Locutus; after Picard's rescue, I returned to my previous position and rank. After my assignment to the Enterprise, and I remained on the Enterprise for nearly a decade and a half. Following the destruction of the Enterprise-D in 2371, I was reassigned to the USS Enterprise-E, where I served as Picard's first officer. I was an early participant in the Officer Exchange Program, temporarily transferring to a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, the IKS Pagh. To prepare for the assignment, I indulged in many different Klingon foods. Worf also gave me an emergency transponder shortly before my departure, just in case of an emergency situation. Onboard the Pagh, I had to quickly learn the Klingon way of doing things, physically fighting the second officer to prove my loyalty to Captain Kargan and enduring the abusive comments of the Klingon crew. At the same time, the Enterprise became infected with a hull-degrading bacteria, which it inadvertently transmitted to the Pagh. The Klingons believed that it was a new Federation weapon, and returned to attack the Enterprise. I was able to relieve Kargan by giving him the transponder and sending him to the Enterprise, then staging a mock battle with the Starfleet vessel to maintain the honor the Klingon crew. I returned to my post aboard the Enterprise following the incident In 2379, having previously turned down several promotions in order to continue serving with Picard, I finally accepted promotion to Captain and assignment to command of the USS Titan. In the same year, I also married Deanna Troi.In 2373, the Enterprise took part in the Battle of Sector 001 against the borg defing Starfleet orders. Thanks to the ship's intervention, the Borg cube was destroyed, but not before it launched a sphere which generated a temporal vortex and we traveled to the year 2063. The Enterprise pursued, and destroyed the sphere before it was able to prevent the first flight of Zefram Cochrane aboard the Phoenix warp ship. The Phoenix was damaged during the attack, and several Enterprise-E crewmembers assisted Cochrane in repairs. I also needed to convince Cochrane of the importance of his first warp flight, as Cochrane considered cancelling it following the Borg attack. Myself along with Geordi La Forge, was present onboard the Phoenix for Cochrane's historic fligh.When I am not on the Bridge I like to play Poker an Jazz. I finaly Married Deanna in the year of 2379 an took command of the Uss Titan.
