I guess I'm a dork since I'm on my space, but then again, so are you =) You are able to view my profile because I have not set it to private or changed my age from 25 to 14 like almost everyone else. I have nothing to hide and no one to hide from, so look all you want. I'm a pretty down to earth girl. I grew up in Yonkers, NY and I unfortunately still live here. I'm half Sicilian and half Neapolitan, so only 1 side of my family is in the mafia...lol...just kidding. I'm also like 10% Ukrainian, which is probably what spared me the dark eyes and big nose that plagues most Italian girls, so a big thanks to my great grandma! Basically, I am an old soul with a young heart. A lot of people who meet me tell me that I look like Kate Beckinsale and almost everyone who knows me well tells me that my personality reminds them of Jessica Simpson before she got so famous, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. For the most part, I have a good sense of humor and I don't take things too seriously. If I just meet you, I will be on the quiet observant side, but that won't last too long if I decide that I like you. I can occasionally have a temper and hold grudges, and am sometimes too honest for my own good, but nobody's perfect. I am always true to myself and am never fake...what you see is what you get, if you don't like me, I don't care and I love that about me. As far as my relationship status goes, I'm very taken and very happy with my first and only love...sorry boys. I've been dating my high school sweetheart, Chris, since I was 14 and I love him more than anything in the world. He is my everything and I hope that we live happily ever after =)When are we getting married you ask...well, we are both in no rush. I think we're still too young to be playing house. Definitely in a few years when we are settled and financially stable, just not yet. Besides, my friends and family are in no rush to meet the 'Bridezilla' that lurks within me~lol. Other than my abnormally long relationship, I have a pretty normal life, I go to work, come home, go to the gym and hang out with my boyfriend or my friends. I like to go to the movies, shop, see broadway plays (which I don't get to do as often as I'd like), go out to dinner, or out for a ladies night in NYC with my girls (I like to have a few drinks, but I don't do any drugs like half of the people in Westchester). On a normal night, you can usually find me cuddling with my man in front of the TV....some may say I'm cheesy, I say I'm lucky. I also love to go on vacation, as does everyone, and I always try to force my boyfriend to take me to Disney World since I'm a Disney fanatic! (I've only been there about 16 times, what can I say, I'm a big kid at heart). If I don't go to Disney World, I still manage to drive people crazy with my itineraries. I confess...I'm a true tourist. I'm also a HUGE animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs, but I have a soft spot in my heart for every animal, I actually prefer them over people. =) I am definately a girlie girl in many ways, as I am sure you can already tell, but I am definately not the kind of girl that needs to get dressed up and blow my hair out everywhere I go. On a normal day, you can find me in one of my sweatsuits with a ponytail. I don't think you have to be uncomfortable to look cute and I have absolutely nothing to prove. Girls that always need to be dressed up make me laugh. Oh, and just because I am from Westchester and my family has a little bit of money, I do not buy into the idea that you are in any way defined by the kind of bag you carry or the kind of car you drive. Too many people around here measure success by superficial crap, and I am not one of them. "Things" cannot make you or your life better, at least I don't think so. As far as my friends go, there the best in the world and I've known most of them since either grammar school or high school. I love that I've had so many of the same people in my life for years. We know all of each other's stories, good, bad, and embarrassing, and have so many memories and I think that's a special thing these days. I have a lot of friends, but I am also careful to distinguish who I consider my best friends vs who I consider just friends or acquaintances. My girls know who they are. Anyways, that's about it for now.
