Don't take regret to the grave!!

About Me

After passing my National Certification Board to be a Certified Pharmacy Technician I worked for Walgreens in the Pharmacy for about a year. I live in Helotes and started school at San Antonio College to finish some pre-req's for nursing school. I only lack the remainder of this Fall '08. The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio called me in for their school of nursing interview. The lady that interviewed me told me I was a "strong candidate for their program". (YAY!) I have already taking the entrance exam for nursing school and at this time am waiting (with baited breath) to receive a letter from them stating whether or not I have been accepted for Spring '09 to start a Bachelor of Science in nursing with an RN. I graduated in May (2nd in my class) from the CNA program at Kaplan. As well as the CNA and CPhT certifcations I also hold a Restorative Aide Certification (RA). I earned the 3 certifications in less than 2 years. (not bad) I am currently working PRN (as needed) for 2 places mostly in geriatrics. Things are progressing. . . Thank GOD for the strength to make it. Things have been tough since I left the Navy but I know that it will all pay off in the end. I miss my family in FL and all over the globe. Wish you guys were closer so we could play.

I'd like to meet:

I just LOVE cats!!!Entries in a cat's journal:DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another house plant.DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed.DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was...Hmmm. Not working according to plan.DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time, however, it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid? My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth.DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise. More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait; it is only a matter of time...... .... ..I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts! Myspace Graphics

Music:

Depends what I'm studying at the time. Mostly Classical Romantic Era and movie music.

Movies:

I love all kinds of movies. Just depends on the day. Disney anything is my total favorite. p.s. Disney World is Truly the HAPPIEST place on earth!!!

Television:

Television? What's that??? I never have time to watch anymore. . . besides we don't have cable and our one and only channel is less than entertaining. Mostly just have time to study.

Books:

DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, Microbiology, Nutrition, and statistics (provided you can actually read a math book) Continuing Education manuals for Pharmacy Technicians.

Heroes:

MY DAD. Saw what he wanted out of life, what he wanted for his family so he worked his tail feathers off. Studied like a mad man. Made a commitment to himself to become successful. And NOW he is not only successful but VERY loved!!!!! Not to mention funny!
