I barely graduated from Chisholm High School in Oklahoma, and joined the Marine Corps as a military musician. After boot camp, I was stationed in Little Creek VA at the Armed Forces School of Music for 6 mos. I then spent 3 1/2 years in Hawaii with the MARFORPAC Band. Here I met my wife April who was a singer in the Navy Band. After four years in the Marine Corps I said Aloha, and my wife and I moved to Jacksonville Florida. April served as a vocalist in the Navy Band South East while putting her husband through school. Yea, she was my sugar mama! I also served in the Florida National Guard for 3 1/2 years as a 31R (Radio Operator). Along the way, we have had two beautiful girls, and two fat cats.Now we live in Maryland where April sings in the Army Field Band, and I teach history at a private Christian school. I am almost half way through my master's degree; though I am currently taking a long needed break from school. My life revolves around being the best possible father, husband, teacher, and friend. Everyday I thank God that he has given me today despite what I did with yesterday. Praise God, for His grace is bigger than all of us.
