About Me

Most people who see this already know me...nobody knows me better than God and my husband and they both love me anyway!!For those who stumble across my little space, I'm the wife of a newly hired private school teacher, the mother of two beautiful, if not very ornery girls 5 and 3. I served in the Navy for 11 years but the Army offered me a promotion and permanent duty in DC/Maryland so now I'm an active duty soldier serving as a musician...yes really! I absolutely love my life and I'm blessed more than I deserve...I try never to forget that!!I'm here to keep up with the INCREDIBLE friends I've met while serving in Hawaii, Florida, and now DC/Maryland. It's always a nice surprise to catch up with people from the past!Ok now how 'bout something a little less maple sugary??Basically, I could sum myself up by stating that I willingly admit I'm a big DORK, I embrace the dorkiness and get a good laugh out of it! I'm the goofy girl-next-door that guys can have a beer with and girls can tell their deepest darkest secrets to!!!

Reading is one of those interests to prevent "Empty Nest Syndrome" Want to read "Tempting Faith...something or other" and another book written by a Muslim American woman "Because They Hate" by the time I get the chance these books will be irrelevant. I only have time for magazines right now, the world stops if I get into a book...

Our mission

Just finished a performance in Yankton, South Dakota. Sitting in the front row were the families of soldiers that lost their lives in Iraq. We often invite families of veterans like this to our concer...
