2002-mid 2006......Ok, here’s where it starts, the Spit End formed in Central Luzon San Fernando Pampanga, Philippines. A melodic political punk rock band with touch of emo. First GERALD (drums) has a band called “PEECH” a rap metal band in year 1999-2000, then when he took up in college they were disbanded. So Gerald again formed a band called “INTENSE JOY” with a girl vocalist, in that time they were influenced by the foreign punk rock band like NFG, Ataris, Game face and Blink 182 they are covering their songs and had played a several gigs, Gerald loves punk rock, oi and HC because Francis of “ISTUKAS OVER DISNEYLAND” influenced him so much. Then ANGELITO “Jay2x” (vocals), his influences are Emo punk and punk rock that’s why when he formed his band called “SOMETIMES ORDINARY” with the help of Kevin of “CROSS THE LINE” Jay2x decided to get Gerald in his band for a session drummer, and they lively recorded their 3 songs as a demo with Christopher Mariano, but suddenly their guitarist “CHRIS” is migrating to Las Vegas California that’s why after the recording of 3 songs, SOMETIMES ORDINARY was disbanded. So after all of that case, Jay2x met JAYVEE (bass) in his community and became friends, he ask Jayvee if he can play rhythm guitar or bass. That’s why first jayvee is our rhythm guitarist, his influences are Rock and Alternative, in that time Jayvee has no idea about the Punk scene as well as JIGS our very first bass guitarist he loves punk rock music and a little bit of ska, every time he play his audio, nothing else but a punk music. Jigs has a participation in the first 4 songs dubb recording of the “SPIT END”. And again sad to say, Jigs didn’t make it due to a personal problem. JAYVEE is connected to JOEL (guitars) he asked Joel if he’s in a band as of that day, then happy to say Joel’s band was disbanded a month ago as he said, his influences is a solid metal that’s why we tease him a “metal boi” (“,) and a little bit of local punk rock like the “PHILIPPINE VIOLATORS & the WuDS”. Then Jayvee decided to handle the bass guitar, Joel on Lead and Rhythm and Jay2x on vocals. The three members immediately contact Gerald to play the drums originally in this band called (SPIT END). Coz in that time Gerald’s band mates is having a problem to their girl vocalist that’s why he formally decided to go. Apparently after a few years (SPIT END) is continuing their recording and now 1st album was released by Nizang of Nervous Records (Malaysia)!! No. 1 reason why we quarrel is financially statement; coz it’s very hard to support our band. But we don’t care about that due to our unity and solidarity and passion of our band.
