About Me

- "CLASS STRUGGLE" was formed on the 1st quarter of '99, by remnants of a highschool band the Idiots. after months of endless practice sessions, they landed on their 1st unprecedented gig on dec 30, 1999 "ADIOS 99!" concert organize by SRA. we were the last to hit the show and we did catch their attention.- the struggle begins.- 1999 line-up Noel- bass guitars, Vox Franz- Guitar, Vox Jv- Drums- 2000 Class Struggle was very much involved on mass protest actions from student issues, workers wage hike, peasants call for land reform, to the call of ouster of the estrada's regime. Class Struggle was often reffered as the Reds on the local punk scene due to its affiliations with the local militant groups.- On 2001 they recorded two songs Kun di Tayo, Sino? Kun di Ngayon, Kailan? and Rebulosyon, after which lead to a temporary disbandment of the group due to personal reasons.- On 2003, JV and Noel try to reform the band with a new bass player chester, we did a few gigs but still did'nt last.- On 2006, the band got reborn! with the original line up and an additional member RJ on Bass guitars. were hoping even now with other attachments we have, we could still have time for the band and continue what we have started.
