Age is not an Accomplishment, Youth is not a Sin

About Me

Eccentric, non-judgmental, moral, passionate, committed, witty, religious, kinky, responsible, tolerant, lazy at times, hard worker at times, funny, romantic, good listener, intellectual, and all 'round swell guy. I'm your friendly neighborhood youth rights hero.
I'm a nice Catholic boy. I'm usually shy around new people I don't know or who I'm not comfortable with. Once I get to know you though, I'm totally the opposite. Then I'm loud, funny, confident, center of attention, etc. I straddle the divide between big ego and saint-like humility (don't ask me how I pull it off). I'm a deep thinker, but not an intellectual snob. I like to think of myself as versatile and not easily pigeonholed into any category. As comfortable in a philosophy discussion group or at a football game. I'm very sensitive to the needs of others, but I'm not some metrosexual pussy.
I guess like all people I'm a fairly complex guy. Just don't take that as a euphemism for "having issues" (which of course is a euphemism for being fucking crazy) cause I'm quite grounded, normal, put together kind of guy. I'm just saying that its tough to describe myself in a paragraph or two here. So please drop me a line and get to know me.
I took some quizzes and I've been nice enough to spare y'all the strain of looking at the ugly thing here on my main page, so instead I've posted it in my blog and am linking to it from here. So go here to read my survey answers .

My Interests

Youth Rights, politics, football, baseball, video games, history, exploring, friends, music, movies,

I'd like to meet:

I want a hot, nerdy, activist chick. No drunk, club hoes need apply. Pretty as they may be, they don't really interest me. I want an intelligent, competent girl who can really be a partner. A girl who is my equal in every way, someone who is a great match in the office and the bedroom. Finally, someone who is openminded and isn't locked into any dogmatic political ideology, be it liberal or conservative. Free minds make free people.

Having the right chemistry is essential. Some girls are perfect on paper, but for some reason we don't click. So I'm looking for that person I click with. (being perfect on paper is good too). And please, if at all possible, I'm looking for someone without issues. They may be cute and endearing in the beginning, but give them time and they start to take their toll. A few are ok (no one's perfect), just don't be fucking crazy. Thanks :)

Music:

Metallica, Ozzy, Aerosmith, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Beethoven, Snoop Dogg, Megadeth, Bright Eyes, AC/DC, Queen, Nirvana, G'nR, Foreigner, Screaching Weasel, Korn, Cursive, Tchaikovsky, Tom Petty, Eminem, Postal Service, Offspring, blues, country....

I could go on and on. So instead of trying to come up with some definitive list of my top interests (which would take all sorts of time and ranking and etc), I'll just take the quirky route, and list a representative sample by listing all the artists on my computer starting with the letter D :)

Danny Elfman, Darryl Worley, Dashboard Confessional, Dave Matthews Band, David Bowie, David Essex, DC Talk, Dead or Alive, Dean Martin, Death Cab for Cutie, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, Default, Deftones, Del Shannon, Desaparecidos, Diamond Head, Dick Dale, Dillenger Escape Plan, Dinosaur Jr., Dio, Dire Straits, Dispatch, Dixie Chicks, Dog's Eye View, Don Henley, Don McLean, Doobie Brothers, Dope, Doris Day, Dr. Dre, Drain STH, Drowning Pool, Dusty Springfield, Dynamite Hack

:)

Movies:

Gladiator, Spider-Man, Patriot, Braveheart, Titanic, American Beauty, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Matrix, Spaceballs, Airplane, Lord of the Rings

Television:

This section has been blank for a very long time since I don't typically watch much tv, but I just adore The Office (the American version at least) and Heroes. Excellent shows. My Name is Earl is good too.

Books:

Lots a political and philosophical books. And lots of youth rights books, like John Taylor Gatto, John Holt, and Mike Males. At one point I read Piers Anthony...

Heroes:

Martin Luther King Jr., Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and anyone who fights for the freedom of others. Plus anyone who grabs ahold of the American Dream and doesn't give up or let go. Persue your dreams always and forever. Never give up, get distracted or change direction.

My Blog

Finally Got Myself a Design

So far I've purposely avoided changing the look of the page, since most people who do it end up with really ugly ass illegal pages that I cringe to look at.  But after doing the NYRA page, and i...
