About Me

Since I now have two fully functional profiles for both of my bands I've decided to try to convert this one back into more of a personal profile.Well, I finally graduated from CU Denver with a BS degree spring '07. Music Industry Studies with a business focus. Let me tell you that was six years of hard work, especially as I had to work full/part time through the whole program. So currently I front two bands and you can check 'em out by clicking on them if you'd like. Severs is the stoner punk rock n roll outfit while Whiskey Throttle is a rockin,' rockabilly, surf band.In '02-'03 I played 2nd guitar for a Denver alt. rock band, The Speeks. From '96-'00 I played guitar, sang and wrote most of the material for a punk-edged, rockabilly Denver band, The Sinshakers. In '90-'93 I played rhythm guitar, sang, and wrote half the songs for a Los Angeles based deathrock/goth band, Last Prayer.I've been in Denver 11 years now and I really dig it. I was born & raised in Utah and spent a few years in Southern Cal.I tend to be something of a loner though I dearly enjoy hanging out with my friends. I shy away from people with negative attitudes, I used to have one but I got rid of it when I figured out it wasn't doing anything but keeping me down.Politically, I like to think of myself as more moderate than anything else, it depends on the issue(s).
