Things that go vroom - obviously Corvettes would be at the top of that list so I love my C4 and my C5 as well as my GSXR 600 and my 4x4 that hauls my bigger toys. When I'm not speeding or breaking other various traffic laws I enjoy gardening, DIY home improvement projects, lazy days by the pool / beach / ocean / lake / river. Spending time with good friends and great company.Traveling to the far ends of the earth. Favorite places on the planet so far include Rome, Florence, London, Salisbury, Paris, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, San Francisco, San Diego, Lake Tahoe, Breckenridge, Manhatten/NYC, Seattle, Vegas every Hawaiian island and every coastal town on the western edge of California. I once went to that land called Canada just to confirm that it is really there. It was.I love art and visiting museums to take in paintings, frescoes and sculpture with an emphasis on Italian pieces from the late 1400-1700's.I would walk a hundred miles to see a sculpture by Gianlorenzo Bernini or a painting by Caravaggio, Boticelli, Bellini, Rubens, Van dyke, Da Vinci, Michelango, etc... etc.. etc...
Chip Foose. Howie Long. Smelly pirate hookers.
Music has always moved my soul. I like virtually all types of music with the exception of country music as it tends to make me bleed from my ears.
I can't even recall the last movie I saw in the cinema. If it weren't for Netflix I would be the laughing stock of the motion picture viewing world. As it is, I'm hanging on by a thread.
As with Cinema, I find it hard to find time to watch television. What I find even harder is to be in front of the TV at the same time week after week even if I do like a show.
Just finished reading the book "Marley and Me" by John Grogan. Damn Grogan for making me bawl like a baby on a transatlantic flight while sitting next to an Alzheimer patient. Some things can just never be forgiven.
