Respecting all forms of the genre that came before them but definitely looking toward the future, the flair driven groove & rhythm based sound of Tricore is filled with original, sometimes obscure concepts, great riffage and beats that add up to the solid metal band you hear. The sometimes-unorthodox song structures give Tricore a style that hasn’t quite been heard before. A rarity these days. The band was started by drummer/vocalist Kerley way back in 2001 and although going through a few different members has musically gone from strength to strength throughout the time. By 2006 with Wood and Carstairs on guitars and Luke Sedman running the samples the band was the strongest and tightest it had ever been.In February 2007 the band went into the well-respected Stakeout studios to record their debut E.P “Unbound”. After just thirteen days studio time Tricore were lucky enough to take their record to the legendary Abbey Road Studios to have it mastered. The results were pleasing and hit home the ability of the band to their modest fan base. As of July ’07 the “Unbound” E.P was internationally released, exclusively on Itunes. In early 2008 the band wrote a set of songs that Chris could simultaneously drum and sing to, to enable them to play live. -(..v)- -(..v)-
