One of my favorite hobbies is drawing. I started drawing when I was in high school and I still draw today. Although I don't seem to have as much free time as I did back then. I prefer to use charcoals and inks.
This is a picture I drew using charcoal. It's from a PS1 game called Parasite Eve (hence the "P E" in the picture). I have a couple more pictures in my "View More Pics."
I also like videogames. I played Super Mario Bros. on the 8-bit Nes and have been playing games ever since. I currently play my Xbox 360 mostly, but I own a PSP and PS3.
I'm currently playing Halo 3.
The Grand Theft Auto series are my favorite games. I really like the structure of the game. You are free to do whatever you want. You can really try to concentrate and beat the game or you can just run and explore for yourself.
Guitar Hero II is one of newer favorite games. I like it because it's different from typical video games. I've only beaten it on the "Hard" difficulty, but hopefully i'll be putting this knowledge into my own REAL band! laf.
My favorite games for each system are...
Playstation 2: Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil 4, Madden 2006, Burnout Revenge, Gran Turismo, The Sims and Tony Hawk.
PSP: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Madden 2006, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Twisted Metal, Midway Arcade Treasures and Burnout Legends.
XBOX/XBOX 360: Halo 1, 2 and 3, Star Wars-Knights of the Old Republic and Dead or Alive 3. Gears Of War, Oblivion and Crackdown.
SPORTS:
I am mainly interested in pro and college football. My pro team is the Miami Dolphins.
In college football, I follow The Ohio State Buckeyes. I was an Ohio State Buckeye fan before I was a Miami Redskin (before they became the Redhawks).
I'd like to meet:
CELEBRITIES:
Kelly Hu- I would like to meet her because she is such an attractive person. She is genuinely beautiful.
JRR Tolkein- I would have liked to meet the man who wrote the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. He goes into so much detail in his books that they could be mistaken for history books instead of works of fiction.
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
On MySpace:
I would like to meet anyone funny, interesting, unique, or that has similar interests. If you look at my friends, I have a mix of "normal" people and hilarious friends.
Music:
I just saw Dave Matthews in August. That was my first Dave show. Green Day was another concert I went to. They played at the Nutter Center in Dayton, OH. It was a great show! They canceled their first show, but when they came back for the rescheduled show, they did EVERY song off of American Idiot! It was one of the best live shows that I have been to.
Tenacious D: The Greatest Band on Earth! FHG is such a touching and emotionally sensitive song for the ladies! I really like their HBO shows too. I also own the DVD "Tenacious D The Complete Masterworks"
"Whats the name of the song? EXPLOSIVO! Don't know what its about but its good to go. Whats the name of my girlfriend, I don't know but she's built like the shit and she's good to go!"
I also like some older Rock/Metal/Alternative bands like; Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, U2 and Nirvana. Other than Green Day and Tenacious D, some of my other favorite bands are The Killers, Weezer, The Offspring, Dave Matthews and Linkin Park.
These groups I listen to in my car, around the house, while running, etc. Rap/Dance/Techno music is OK in the right environment, like clubs/bars. I wouldn't listen to it while on the couch. Country music is good for filling up trash cans!
Movies:
Transformers is the BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
Great movies! In my opinion, this was the BEST "book-to-movie" translation.
This was an original, intriguing and thought provoking movie. "What is real?" This was definitely Keanu Reeves best performance since Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure!
"There is no spoon."
I liked everything about this movie from it's philosophy to the plot twist at the end. This is also the best movie I've seen about soap.
"The things you own end up owning you."
"You are not your job. You are not how much you have in the bank. You are not the contents of your wallet. You are not your khakis. You are not a unique and beautiful snowflake. "
This is one of my favorite comedies. Without this movie I wouldn't have my own Red Dragon or Richapaloozas I-IX!"
"I thought we were in the Trust Tree, in the Nest? Are we not?"
I really liked this movie for it's "South Park" style of humor. Plus, what other movie can say that it has a sex scene..........with PUPPETS! There are a lot of great one-liners and quotes in this movie as well.
"I promise! I will never die!"
"There are three types of people in the world: Dicks, Pussies and Assholes..."
These are just some of my favorite movies. I have a relatively large DVD collection with too many movies to list them all here. I'd probably say that my favorite type of movies are comedies. I really enjoy laughing so hard that I can't breathe! I even like bad movies that are SO BAD that they can be comedies.
These are two of my Best "Worst" movies. They weren't meant to be comedies, but man did I laugh...a lot!
These are some other movies that I like but didn't bother to put in pictures of.
COMEDIES:
Austin Powers 1-3, Ed Wood, Office Space, There's Something About Mary, Saving Silverman, American Pie, Dumb and Dumber, The Girl Next Door, Napoleon Dynamite, The Big Lebowski, The 40-Year Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Top Secret, Airplane, and Caddyshack.
ACTION & DRAMA:
Star Wars I-VI, Jurassic Park, X-Men, Spiderman, Interview With The Vampire, Gladiator, Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Minority Report, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Titanic, Pretty Woman, Desperado, Big Trouble In Little China, Sixth Sense, Boogie Nights, A Few Good Men, and Cast Away.
Television:
This was one of the best shows when it was on TV. Thank God for the DVDs! My favorite episode was "Mitchel". Between Joel and Mike, I liked Joel better.
"Hi, my name is Duane...I mean I'm the Warrior of the Lost World."
So, Mitchel, how do you take your scotch?" "By the quart."
This is still one of the funniest shows on TV. "Cripple Fight", "Towlie", "Russel Crowe Fightin' 'Round the World", "Chinpoko Mon", "Playing With Weapons", "The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers", "Free Hat", "Red Sleigh Down" and "The Simpsons Already Did It" are some of my favorites.
"Does anyone know what sexual harassment means? Yes Eric." "When you're trying to have intercourse with a lady friend and some other guy comes up and tickles your balls from behind." "No Eric."
Some of my other favorite TV shows are: Family Guy, Seinfeld, Simpsons, Chappelle's Show, and The Office.
Books:
I just finished reading all seven Harry Potter books. I didn't get into them at first because I thought they were for kids. But they were very interesting and more adult oriented that I first believed.
One of my favorites is The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit. I read all of those for the first time way back in high school...way before the movies came out.
I 've read several Tom Clancy books: The Hunt for Red October, Red Storm Rising and Clear and Present Danger.
Interview With the Vampire and the sequels by Anne Rice.
I also enjoyed reading Science Fiction, especially books from the Battletech, Alien and Predator universe. I mostly read these in my High School years. I haven't read any Science Fiction recently.
Regarding comics, my two favorites are Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Waterson and The Far Side by Gary Larson. Without them, I don't even read the Funnies anymore.
Heroes:
My heroes are anyone with a lightsabre and people that can make me laugh!
Screw episodes 7,8, and 9. Rotoscope Dumb and Dumber!!!
The Force is strong with this one! Wait, I thought Blue was good and Red was evil?
Chunk was my least favorite Goonie!
Respect my AUTHORITAY!
