Couer de Lion

I'm a very adventurous person. I've survived in the wilderness for 2 days without food or water; fallen into a sewer in rural Kenya; been chased for a banana by hyraces, rodent-looking creatures related to the elephant; collaborated with a grandson of Mahatma Gandhi; helped start up a couple non-profit organizations; run marathons; climbed more than 150 mountains; and traveled to 35 countries. My future plans are to travel to every country in the world; run the Boston Marathon; learn Zulu; climb every mountain in southern California; and write children's books.Other words I would use to describe myself are kind, funny, determined, dependable, creative, idealistic, sincere, ethical, unconventional, shy, introspective, conscientious, and warm.This is my first year teaching kindergarten and it's been challenging and rewarding. The kids are funny, adorable, and full of energy. It's amazing to see them learn how to read and write.
