At 17 Tony was recruited by Julliard in New York to enter into a new prototype program for stringed instruments, but turned them down to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston because of his love for modern music. With this and his childhood musical education he learned the technical and aesthetic skills of a trained musician, a major advantage for him as a DJ.
While attending college, Tony started going to clubs and was soon drawn into promoting for them; first with Global Entertainment and, later, with EEntertainment. This was where he first discovered his passion for electronic dance music. Tony has since focused his musical mind and passion solely on his career as a DJ and producer.
He practiced constantly on his first pair of decks, spun at friends' parties for a while and then got the opportunity to play at Buzz in Boston one Friday night, where he was a promoter, when the house DJ called out. After proving himself there, he began to get gigs at other Boston clubs, most notably The Exchange, where he and a partner had a weekly Wednesday residency for 3 months.
In July 2002, Tony was flown to London to play at an avant-garde art exhibit for Goldsmith's, at the opening of a South London art gallery, and an outdoor summer festival for 1,000+ people, his biggest show at the time. Upon his return to the U.S., Saint, a new high profile lounge in Boston, approached Tony to play their opening. Following that show, they offered him a three-night weekly residency, which he maintained for 2 years. During that time he and others established a Monday night industry party called SIN.
Since then Tony has held residencies at Blue Cat Cafe and 33 Restaurant and Lounge as well as playing at many venues throughout the Boston area and the US. In addition he has been working continually, producing his own tracks as well as music for television and film. To date his music has been featured on both SpikeTV and The Speed Network.
With gigs in London and soon Tokyo under his belt this newcomer to the Boston scene has wasted no time making a name for himself. With his uncanny ability to weave seamlessly from hard progressive house to soulful house to breaks and beyond he is the logical choice for any party that wants to stand apart from the rest. A set delivered by Tony can take you from sweet sublime soundscapes to full on hands in the air high energy intensity and everywhere in between. With an understanding and feel for music and the crowd far beyond his years this is only the beginning.
