"Read it.... Of if you're lazy: reading, writing, fencing, fire, art, debate (including arguing, but shhh)..."
(DO NOT random add me if you're a mindless drone, an idiot or...fake. I've no tolerance for idiocy or those who can't be themselves. Also, it seems that lately I'm getting spammed with advertisements...this is very, very annoying. ~.~)
Example: Your music tastes. You love a band when they first start out or when they're not overly popular, but suddenly you detest them and everything they've ever done because, in your eyes, they've become 'too mainstream' or 'sold out'.
Seriously, what does them seeking fame and fortune for obvious talents hurt? They still, often, play the same bloody music. Isn't that what you listened to them for in the first place? Despite the number of fans they have or how much money they've made, it doesn't change that aspect. You either like the sound of their music or you don't.
God. :) And, yes, I know I'm not very devout. ~.~
Ok, guys, I really -do- consider /all/ of you friends. There's just the logical problem that I can't get to all of you at once! I normally always comment/message when I add someone or am added. I'll also always respond to comments and messages if they're not spam. Just, please, give me time.
The ranks below DO NOT matter. I don't rank my friends--the slot they're in is just the slot I had available when they were added.

Non-modern:
MOST classical. Primarily "Appassionatta" and "Turkish March" (Rondo Ala turca).
I'm sure by now you can tell I pretty much like anything save country (not all of it is bad. I just don't like themes that, on majority, deal with nothing but crushes, drinking and killing people for being an abusive husband, cheater, etc).
The Libertine, Barcelona, Artemisia, Pulp Fiction, The Illusionist, Tristan and Isolde, Amadeus, Troy, Rome, Kingdom of Heaven, King Arthur, Lost Boys (The), Dangerous Beauty, Delicatessen, Underworld, Underworld: Evolution (dedicated to Carolyn), and Les Diaboliques.
I'm not big on television...but I will admit I like Futurama, The Simpsons, King of the Hill and Family Guy. Shhhhhhh!
Asimov, Piers Anthony, Andreyev, le Fanu, etc, but I read anything that's well-written and interesting (to me), to tell the truth.
Specifically? (No particular order)
1.) "Lazarus" by Leonid Andreyev
2.) "The Red Room" by H.G. Wells
3.) "Wake Not The Dead" by Johann Ludwig Tieck
4.)"The Dust of Death" by Isaac Asimov
5.)"Carmilla" by Sheridan le Fanu
6.)"The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allen Poe
7.)"The Doll's Ghost" by Marion Crawford
8.)"Bloodlines" by Sidney Sheldon
9.) "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley
10.) "Northanger Abbey" by Jane Austen
11.) "Uncle Silas: A Tale of Bertram-Haugh" by Sheridan le Fanu
12.) "Dracula" by Bram Stoker

Still with me? Good. I've taken the effort to list this many great stories (-I- approve of them, so how can they not be good?), so do you know what you're going to do? You're going to read them!
Hey! Send me a message and tell me if you enjoy them.
Must I have one? Anyone in the "Books" section will suffice, I guess...
Any writer of merit, by my standards...not by their diction, but by their imagination and their legend. More often than not, authors of merit, considered so by general consensus, suck.
