I find myself... in the place where I'm last seen.

About Me

Monkeyzbox is a name I call myself on the internet. It is also a box containing a monkey. It also belongs to the monkey. The monkey bangs on the walls from outside and in. He rocks the box and by beating out his rythmn he sends waves of communication around the cosmos.
About me. The author of this text, the person in the photo, the friend of my friends and the member of my family.
I am from London. That's where I grew up and spent most of my life. I call it home and I miss it dearly. Things were not easy but they were nothing unpleasant. I moved from that city to another city with it's own personality and continued to study art and design.
Now I am travelling on the other side of the World. I'm on a journey that I have always dreamed about. I'm on a kind of inner and outer exploration trip. It's going nicely.
I love music, art, culture, other people, the natural world, design, ancient things, traditional things, things that don't break just so that you have to buy them again, things that last a life time or two, things from the heart.
I love a couple of supposedly aboriginal* sayings, (*aboriginal as in from aboriginal peoples, indigenous peoples ) : Only make something if it is both functional and useful. If you're going to make something make it beautiful.
Nice. Another one now... You've got to think about how your actions are going to effect the next seven generations.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet interesting people with interesting things to say and show and people that have interests in what I have to say and what I have to show.
I am an artist. I use other names for other arms of my art. One of them is Dog .
He draws, people things and worlds based on what he sees around him and what comes out of his mind. He has his own profile, email and friends. Here... myspace.com/dogartPlugs:
