Raisin' Cain

Coming from different parts of the United States with diverse musical influences, the six members of Raisin’ Cain each moved to Nashville to pursue their individual musical talents. The band includes: Clint Chandler (lead guitar, vocals) from Texas, Steve Stokes (violin, mandolin, vocals) from Pennsylvania, Adam Ricker (lead vocals, acoustic) from Ohio, Jay Gorman (bass guitar) from Ohio, Gregg Lohman (drums) from Illinois, and Mark Burch (keyboards) from Texas.In 2002, the band formed with each member bringing his own style, influences, and years of professional playing experience that created a fresh, unique sound. Raisin’ Cain takes pride in being a “true” band, as they write, arrange, perform, and record their own material – a rarity in country music.
