Motion Pictures

The four members of the Motion Pictures came together to form a band in a very ill documented way, and the true storey is still unclear, but village talk has it that it was a standard affair. T.W Gardner, a musical scholar, and A.J Truckell, a friendly organic farmer, had been school friends since an early age and often collaborated with a couple of spanish guitars to create musical harmony. They began a small recording project with a very talented R. Brown, former London session drummer for acts he'd rather not go into, but for a laugh, we'll give you one name, Sting. These recordings became the backbone of the first, self-titled, album by Motion Pictures. J.
