Derek Talton loves Jesus and his family. After that then comes the B3 hammond organ. I love the beauty of leslie with good tubes and clean smooth highs. I come from an era before there was a bass player and synthesisers and drum machines. I appreciate these other instruments, but sometime you are forced into a situation where you are all by yourself and the crowd is grave yard dead and you need that annointing into the hands that plays that organ to destroy some yokes.There are not many of us around, but it is wonderful to run into sombody who remembers how to create that atmosphere. I've been blessed to play in Europe, Japan, Korea, and most of the West Indies. My hat goes off to cats like Stanley Brown, Melvin Crispell, Jerome Williams, Twinky Clark, Butch Heyward, Afred White, Travis Sales, Timothy Wright, Billy Preston, John Peters, David Frasier, Kevon Bond, and sooooo many others.I left off the titles because everyone of these wonderful minstrels are PHD's in their own right. I salute these mighty warriors of God. I'll tell you the rest about lata. God bless all who reads this in Jesus name.
