HEY EVERY ONE! just sending out some updates with us. First we want to thank Jerry for rocking on the drums with us the past year. we also want to welcome back Bobby A to drums.

Bobby was rocking with us back in 2004 and some of you may have seen him with us on the Shinedown tour in the summer of '04.

"One of those bands signed to Wind-Up that I expected a lot more from. Their self-titled album from 2004 is real modern rock pearl with great tunes from start to, but nothing really happened. Why? The answer is pretty clear. Without any promotion or trust from the label you’re on label it’s more or less impossible to break. And that was the case with Seven Wiser, which is one of the most tragic examples the last years with leaving their label just a couple of weeks after the release.
But this didn’t break Jon Santos and the other guys since they’re now back with a six song Ep entitled “Stronger”. Don’t know if the title reflects how the band feels after all the mess, but that’s at least how I see them after a three year absence. And for those that liked the previous stuff this are nothing else than a safe buy. With their typical trademark in bombastic and big sounding modern rock they deliver exactly what I hoped for. From the opening “Beautiful Day” to the last title track “Stronger” the New Jersey band shows what they’re best at doing.
One thing that hit me is that their style feels so familiar, but at the same so personal. You can clearly hear from the first seconds that this is “Seven Wiser” with their compact, big sounding and also melodic way of explaining rock.
The only songs that separates a little is the acoustic based “Empty” that feels a little bit more like the Wind-Up album with a cleaner modern rock sound. It’s a great tune, very suitable for any soundtrack or TV-series with a catchy melody that stuck at once. So if you liked their first independent album or the Wind-Up one, “Stronger” is definitely an EP that you got to have!
