and...that's the band...and that's how we are most of the time...Ridiculous...
As for me...besides the J-O-B, on a side dream, I play lead guitar in this all girl Detroit band called HELLEN,
it's pretty sweet...we've played some great shows: The Hamtramck Blowout, Detroit Taste Fest, 5th Ave, Royal Oak Music Theater, the new dodge, the belmont, kelly's bar, the painted lady, ST. Andrews, The Majestic Theater, double olive, Lager House, Northern Lights...the list goes on, BUT you should come check us out sometime... rock'n roll is what we play...we write our own songs, and play a couple of covers...
Um, everything on the left over there pretty much describes what I like and don't like...I'm pretty big on trust and loyalty in relationships...ruin that and you've ruined us...and the one thing I value most that is priceless, are the two tokens. I think close friends are really hard to come by, so that's one of the things that means a great deal to me. Yes, its cheesy, but its me.
I feel that my pictures speak for themselves as to who I am and who/what I think is important in my life...other than my cute as hell parents of course...
I love to travel and have been blessed enough to have cheers'd so many great different people in so many great different countries. I'm a big fan of shaking hands, its a sign of friendliness and respect. I always cheers before the first sip, and when tipsy toast to what is, what once was, and what is to come...why drink when away? Because a beer in hand, to me at least, always makes me feel a little bit more at home.

CYSTIC FIBROSIS

We're Gonna Keep On Rock'n Till We Find A Cure

I never EVER knew anything about CF until I met my friend Emily, who unfortunately has this genetic illness, and is also the drummer of our band. Single handedly, Emily started an organization called Lets Rock CF, a way to spread awareness of this disease. As a result, Emily also thought of a way to spread awareness and raise money in a very rock'n way. By having bands rock out for the cure! If there is one show a year that HELLEN is serious about playing its the Cystic Fibrosis Benefit called, appropriately enough, "Just Let Me Breathe". We just played our 4th Annual Just let me breathe benefit at the Royal Oak Music Theater downtown Royal Oak in Michigan. What a great place to play! Emily's the master mind of this concert and this year alone we raised $14,000 that night. We want to see this get bigger and better every year. Since I didn't know anything about CF I thought to put some awareness on my page for that. So take the time to read below.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. A defective gene causes the body to produce an abnormally thick, sticky mucus that clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections. These thick secretions also obstruct the pancreas, preventing digestive enzymes from reaching the intestines to help break down and absorb food.

More than 10 million Americans are unknowing, symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. An individual must inherit two defective CF genes — one from each parent — to have CF. Each time two carriers conceive, there is a 25 percent chance that their child will have CF; a 50 percent chance that the child will be a carrier of the CF gene; and a 25 percent chance that the child will be a non-carrier.

(Royal Oak Music Theater'06)

The median age of survival for a person with CF is 33.4 years.

As more advances have been made in the treatment of CF, the number of adults with CF has steadily grown. Today, nearly 40 percent of the CF population is age 18 and older.
