Songwriter, arranger, vocalist, and producer Range -- was born in Philadelphia and raised in Connecticut . His path to the music industry was stepped on before he even knew he was meant to be there. His mother is an accomplished cellist , pianist and singer, and his father opened the door to writing, poetry, and a different side of the arts. “I played the saxophone growing up and fell in love with music while listening to Dr. Dre, B.I.G., Dru-Hill, and Jay-Z” said Range. “I respect the moves a lot of these artist made to get where they’re at…this business is for the strong willed” says Range about the hard work and tenacity it takes to break as an artist. The young driven entertainer has graduated from college while still finding the time to get in the studio and travel the country with some of the industries heavyweights. Range has worked with producers Troy Oliver (Ginuwine, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson), Allstar (Joe, Madonna, Omarion), and major artist Ginuwine and Tyrese to name a few. “I’m an artist,” says Range, “but don’t see me as a R. Kelly or Chingy, look at me as a Rembrandt or Picasso.” Range is currently finishing his debut album with Chocolate Factory Inc. (Troy Oliver) and Muzic Park .
