So for you "indie artists"(experienced and beginners) who do not have a "publishing" set up, I suggest you become affiliated! If you are commercially selling records, or if you are performing, or if you are getting "air-time" these are monies you are not getting! Even being "streamed" on the net can bare rolayties, check it out! Get to these conferences, find out many answers to the questions you may have about the next step in "Your Career"! Meet the "Behind the Scenes" people who are the one's making a lot of things happen! Oh, and "Copyright" your work! I know way too many artists who are selling and are not registered! It's for your own protection, it's cheap, but most of all, the "Poor-Man's Copyright" doesn't have a lot of judicial weight anymore guys!
