About Me

my sole purpose in life is to make music. at the moment i am taking a break before going to grad school so i can pursue two bands that i have created; they are called junecast and bahamut. these two bands mean the world to me; each one allows me to express very different things about myself, and each one allows me explore very different compositional techniques. for income i teach private lessons, mainly on guitar and piano. in general, music means more than just a lot to me; it is a higher language that expresses things beyond the scope of what our spoken languages can explain. it allows people to connect on a level much deeper than the surface reality on which most dwell. most of my time is spent developing the skills necessary to excel in this language while i fight to survive on the surface that is our world.

My Interests

spectralism, symmetry, one handed drum rolls, the infinity series, circular breathing, inward screams, multiphonics, polyrhythm, metric modulation, post tonal ear training, art composition, quartal harmony, schenkerian analysis, the dorian mode, c sharp.
