December 9th What's Happening to the Band? Word on the streets is Chi Chi El Camino, the lead "couch potato for the world famous band "MagicBurps" is calling it "quits" after five years. In a press statement El Camino said, "I feel that the band's new sound is heading in another direction and I no longer feel a part of it." Adrian Jude replied "get your ass off the couch and get me a beer." No word yet from the band. A rep for El Camino, speaking on the down-low, said El Camino really doesn't care what the rest of the band has to say about her abrupt departure from them. Rumors have been floating around for months about fierce fighting between guitarist Adrian Jude and El Camino. Maybe El Camino had it with Jude's attitude and bullsh?? and that's the sad part.
Dec 10 2006 10:01POfficial Statment:I want to start by saying it was an honor to attend my first official practice with The Magic Burps. I feel that we are starting to move in a direction which will bring each musician together like fingers on a hand. While I understand one of our members concerns, we have to realize that change is the evolution of the musical universe. I hope our music will grow together as certain members of the band learn to communicate in an amicable fashion. Let me finish by saying that this was one of the most free form practices I have ever attended and belive that we will start working on a new album in the NEAR future.Stay CoolJimmy Z
