I am a musician, an artist, a poet, an ex-soldier, a fisherman, a practitioner of magic, An Environmentalist, a lover, a seeker of truth, a father, a Druid, a friend, and a supporter of all those who oppose tyranny in any form. Or at least that's what my new business cards say.I have a very eclectic view of religion. I believe there is some truth in most of the so-called "Major Religions" I do not however choose to follow blindly with the masses.
My view of God, the Supreme Being, or whatever you want to call her is very simple. To me God is the source of all life in the universe, the spark of fire in all things.
Like a river where we all go to drink. There are many paths to the river. The eagle does not scurry down the path of the hare. The deer does not fly through the air to get to the source. We all must find our own path.Deep in the green wood there is a stirring of the Elvin spirit, (Our sense of belonging to the natural world).
It is a sign that there is still hope for us.
This planet is not a stepping stone to the great big pie in the sky. This is our only home. It once was a place of beauty and love. Where all creatures lived in balance & harmony with the earth. It can be again...Environmentalism is not a religion, it is not a poltitical party, it's not a football team. It's common sense.
Give your love to all living creatures, search for truth, plant a tree & We'll make the world a better place for our children...
