About Me

Kim says: I like rain, barefootin' in the grass, driving around TRYING to get lost, hugs and smiles, getting dirty, tickle fights, and making laughter good medicine.Born in Virginia's southwest, I lived in more places and went to more schools than I can remember up and down the east coast as a child. I hope to travel back to some of those places just to see how much things have changed. Speaking of travel...I love it! My most memorable long road trip was driving crosscountry from PA to Montana with three little kids and one grown one. A van full of estrogen! We spent three weeks living out of the minivan, tent and an occasional motel. We hit 23 states and I think we got a t-shirt and postcard in each one. That was so awesome! That same year I flew out to Arizona to visit my dad. He and I spent about a week in the RV, hitting some different sod out there, we even walked across the border into Mexico. I can't wait to see the Grand Canyon again but this time with my hubby.Kind of settled in PA by accident and after half a lifetime,found my true love...he likes to travel, too :o)I like little cars, but want a '64 1/2 Mustang.Mike says: ???????I got my cursors from...

Kim: Depends on my mood....anything from hymns to hard rock, etc. as long as I can understand the words. I love the guitar, piano, drums, harmonica, any rustic instruments played together or alone. I love the fact that I have four guitar players in my family!

Movies:

Kim: I have a whole collection of Mel Gibson movies. I have a few favorites, but Forever Young makes my cry. I like history based movies and comedy. I'll watch almost anything once, but will usually fall to sleep if asked to watch it again unless it has been a LONG time since I've seen it last.Talk about laughin' 'til it bugs ya....check out this "movie"Laughing baby...HILARIOUS!!!

Kim: My hubby and I are bookaholics. We read the whole Dark Tower series, racing each other to get to the next book but willingly sharing tidbits of what we've read to keep up the interest. I usually judge a book by opening to the middle pages and reading a page or two. I do the same with people if they'll let me in :o)Mike: ????
