United Kingdom Skateboarding Association

Furthering Skateboarding in the UK

About Me

The United Kingdom Skateboarding Association (UKSA) is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation founded in 2005, with the goal of improving skate park facilities is the UK. Following years of lacklustre installations, the association was set up to help change the current trend of poor skate park builds in the UK. With over 1,000 skate parks and less than a handful of which are worth a visit, something has to change and with the UK Skateboarding community behind us, this is beginning to change. The UKSA also aims to raise the positive image of skateboarding, support Skater-Owned-Shops, advise and with the running of skate events and act as an information resource, ensuring that people looking for contacts in the Skateboarding world are pointed in the right direction. Is your local council planning to build a skatepark? Have there been articles or letters in your local paper regarding skateboarding (negative or positive)? Do you run a SOS? Are you putting on a skate event? Want to get more involved? Even if you are just after the new news get in contact with the UKSA via The UKSA Website
