okay, I will be less glib and actually answer the question...
I like to meet people who are:
- crazy hippie vegetarian freakos
- pink-haired bisexuals
- direct, even to a fault
- able to hold a good conversation, even if it means pausing the movie or actually (shock!) turning off the TV
- writers
- avid readers
- poets (who are also writers, but they get their own line anyway... deal)
- geeks
- gamers, not "players"
- not at the extremes of gender identification. I like the middle ground; it's far more interesting.
- honest, with themselves as much as with others
- people I like (catch-all cop out answer for the stuff I missed)
I like the quotes section on Facebook, but Myspace doesn't have one, so I'm making my own.

meh. I don't even have a TV, but I do like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. I have also been known to like The Simpsons, The Daily Show, South Park, and The Colbert Report. Apparently, you have to be animated, cynical, and/or Joss Whedon to interest me.
Good dog, I dunno... Letters From the Earth by Mark Twain (changed my view on Twain and really helped with the anti-religion thing), Maus, Sandman (Neil Gaiman 3), On the Road, The Food Revolution, Diet for a New America, Cerebus. Stardust, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I should say Lord of the Rings, but mostly they put me to sleep, The Histories by Herodotus, Lies my Teacher Told Me, A Brief History of Time, Devious Derivations, Watership Down, Fast Food Nation, and more that escape me at the moment.
Mark Twain, Jim Morrison, Jack Kerouac, Suzi Twitty, Neil Gaiman, Bill Clinton, John Lennon, your mom
