BiographySyfer were formed in December 2003 by Scott Charles, Dean Zammit and Aaron Sherrington. Rob Lindop (Wake Up Dead), then joined the band in early 2004, as the pieces seemed to start fitting into place. Shortly after Christmas disaster struck, as Dean left the band due to college and work pressures. It seemed over before it had even began.
In April 2004, Michael Synnott joined the band. Soon after Michael's arrival, Rob left the band to continue work with his other band, 'Wake Up Dead'.
The band produced their first EP - "The Difference Between Us And Them" in February 2005, and had their first song played on XFM's Unsigned show - two weeks after the demo had been released.
Later that year, the band appeared in South London's Press Magazine, the Pulse. Which talked about the band's upcoming second demo "S.0.S.", due for release in August 2005.
The band continued to play venues, around London, until they recorded their third demo "Decisions" in April 2006. With songs such as 'Easy Now' and 'Decisions' quickly being picked up and played on Italian and American radio as well as Internet Pod casts.
In February of 2007, Edge Haine joined the band on Keyboard and Filler parts on bass. This was so the band could experiment and bring a new direction to their music, which they felt was missing.
Plans for a new demo has already began, with ideas of a Single or Album being recorded in summer 2007, as the band take on a new direction with their sound, slowly introducing the new material, into their raw live shows.
