About Me

Jamie Robinson
18 year old Jamie Robinson’s hot hybrid – crafted from the finest rock, jazz and electronic elements – is some seriously heady stuff. It’ll go right to your head, by way of your ears. Your heart will rumble, your mind will awaken and you will be renewed. Or have a heck of a great party time listening to this music. Robinson is an accomplished mixer of flavors with the results being music with a flavor distinctly that of Jamie Robinson. His compositions are addictive and grab you immediately. There’s so much atmosphere and personality floating around in a Robinson song it’s impossible not to like this artist’s work.
Empathy
Music is a mystic thing that allows the listener to peek in on the state of mind and heart of the artist. One can tell you how he feels but music expresses emotion in a much deeper, richer way. Music, says Robinson, makes one feel “passionate, powerful, weak, depressed … Music makes me feel emotionally vulnerable to what the composer was feeling at the time when they wrote the piece of music.” Robinson strives to write music that is evocative and honestly captures the feelings extant during the songwriting process. Pure music with expressive ability is one of the most powerful things in the universe and Robinson works to write music that is fully expressive and totally honest.
If It Makes You Happy … Or Sad …
When music strikes you and inspires a real emotionally response that follows with artistic satisfaction, it has succeeded. “If it feels good and sounds good, that’s all that matters.” Whatever the tune, however it’s composed and performed, if it stirs up a response and leaves one feeling satisfied, the song has done its job. Robinson writes music that leaves both artist and listener happy, so much so that those who have heard Robinson once will desire to do so again. Infectious tunes prevail with Jamie Robinson.
Music
Many different things are cited as inspiration for song, but even music can inspire itself. “My passion for music inspires me every day.” Music itself and its wonderful capabilities and effects are enough to keep the spirit alive in Jamie Robinson, who daily works on songs, writing, performing, recording, building up a portfolio of marvelous compositions sure to be handy in building a career.
Dedication
Talent and dedication are all it takes to succeed. Robinson will succeed because of this drive, this “dedication that resulted in my playing, practicing 8 to 11 hours a day for months at a time.” Robinson is currently working with A&R Select, the leading independent A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
Review
“Jamie Robinson’s music is alive in a way many artists strive for but few accomplish.” – A&R Select
