About Me

Spitfire formed in Paris, France in 2004 when Irish born singer Brian met Jeff (guitar) at an aftershow party of a Beck show in Paris. The two were joined by Xavier Manceau a few weeks later and finally by Julian Brossier (drums) and Nicolas Chabret (bass) to make up this five piece doted with a sound that lies somewhere between U2, Interpol, The Strokes, The Doors. Brian started making a name for himself in Paris as a lyricist and guest singer on albums such as "Beaurivage" by David Grumel (Naïve). He has also worked on projects with Brian Reitzell (Air, Turin Brakes, Beck) and Bardi Johannsson (Bang Gang, Lady & Bird).
