My Quest
My idea of a
perfect woman? XENA, Warrior Princess. Well, kinda like that. I mean, beautiful,
strong, and aggressive, yet soft, passionate, and all woman. A gal with a
fearless passion for life and perfectly capable of expressing herself. Dont take
it for granted that we men know what you want. Look at the expression on Xena's
face, she can't believe it either. Sometimes you need to spell it out for us. I
really do believe men are wired differently than women. Because of this, we
become a stronger force combined as one, provided we communicate effectively.
She must also be my best friend, someone that has my back, knows all my secrets,
can accept my imperfections, understands my needs, and honestly express her
feelings and desires.
All this searching
for you really SUCKS. But, ... I can be so damn stubborn!
UPDATE !
My QUEST is finally
over. After much effort on Match.com and here at MySpace.com, I have
finally met that special someone that not only takes my breath away, but she
says I take her breath away as well. She is so beautiful, sweet, gentle,
compassionate, loving, sensuous, SEXY, gorgeous, well mannered, responsible,
honest, funny, and sane. I am in heaven right now and miss her so much
when she leaves the room. I am so lucky! Winning the
super-duper-jackpot lottery couldn't feel this good.

LET ME OUT!
The Building of a 5.0L
A Blueprint for Success
It all started with the purchase of a new 1995 Mustang GT for my EX.
Well, she got pregnant and it became too hard to reach the pedals.
She got the truck and I got the Mustang.
She didn't get the Mustang back.
At 80,000 miles the factory warranty ran out and at 90,000 it started
getting weak. It was time to think about a new motor. The perfect opportunity
to create a street toy.
The first step was an interview with my mechanic, Charlie Martin, owner
of Martin Motion. His approach was simple, "What are you going to do with this
car?" Well, my wants were as simple. First, the car is my daily means of
transportation, so it must be dependable and road worthy every day regardless of weather
conditions. Second, it must have legal emissions and good gas mileage. Third,
it must be able to withstand the punishment of my heavy right foot. And one more
thing.... I love to play.
A few days later, after working with his design software, Charlie asked
me to come by the shop and discuss the project. We went over the design, the
expected performance, the components necessary, delivery schedules, machining schedules,
vehicle down time, and pricing. With my approval, he called in the first order, the
new aluminum heads. In three months, we would be firing it up for a test drive.

buy and
bolt parts. They were ordered to meet the optimal flow specifications derived
from the computer software. Most people think they can produce stable horse power by
bolting on production performance parts. WRONG!
Machine work and balancing and more mock up.
Measurements were taken and more machine work.
More mock up and measurement and more machine
work.
Final check for clearances and tolerances. By this
time, the engine had been together seven times to ensure all is according to plan.
Now it is time to pull the old motor and swap out a few parts to the new motor.
Okay, let's see if it fits!
The hood just barely closes over the new Holley
SysteMAX intake. The stock strut tower brace doesn't fit around the intake. A
new 1995 Cobra strut tower brace is a perfect fit.
Next, open the door, sit in the seat, turn the
key,
and GO!
I can't tell you how many times I have found myself sitting at a red
light and some kid next to me in a Mustang asks me, "Hey what kind of headers are you
running? It sure sounds good." Well, it ain't the headers or exhaust.
It is the flow through the headers and exhaust that gives it that sound. It
is a sound that can only be achieved through patience and engineering. You can't
just bolt it on!
"Now, I wonder where I can find some tires that will last more
than five minutes?"
