I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

About Me

I own my own web design business: CLICK LUCKY ACE WEB DESIGN! , and I'm a pinup model and burlesque performer. My first burlesque performance was with Dames Aflame . Before I co-founded DollSquad Burlesque with this chick in Atlanta, Georgia named Calu. Calu and I were the opening burlesque act for the Queen of the Burlesque Revival, Dita von Teese . She liked our act so much that she requested we open for her when she performed her next show in Atlanta. So we had organized DollSquad by then, and had a fantastic show at the former fetish club, the Chamber, in Atlanta. This was the same December when Dita graced the cover of Playboy. After I left Dollsquad, I performed a few shows with veteran burlesque performer, Torchy Taboo, who founded Dames Aflame before going solo herself. I also headlined with Big City Burlesque in Atlanta.I'm featured in the underground fetish documentary called Alternative Worldz. My part is a filmed pin-up shoot in front of a fireplace. Here's to keepin' it tasteful! I'm a big fan of the Art of the Tease!! Things that make me smile: BURLESQUE, SKA SKA SKA, Psychobilly.
My dogs,
, Dempsey and Edgar, spaghetti westerns, film noir, fireworks, Marilyn Monroe, Tallulah Bankhead, Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Hedy Lamarr, Lili St. Cyr, Mae West, smartasses, pigtails, roller derby, contortionists, children's book illustrations , boxing, hockey, hot rods, kustom kulture, high heels, corsets, mechanical bulls, 1920s silent cinema, robots, pirates, zombies, mermaids, helicopters, damsels in distress, pulp novel art, vanilla vodka, champagne, twizzlers, Felix the Cat, Rat Fink, dead hooker jokes, fireworks, and ghosts. My favorite opera is Carmen, and favorite ballet is Swan Lake, though I do love Nutcracker and have seen it many many times. I have too many favorite artists to list - but since I listed my fave movies, here goes: Picasso, Hieronymus Bosch, Mary Cassatt, Frieda Kahlo, Alberto Giacometti, Monet, Francisco Goya, aghh too many... I spent a day at the Louvre in Paris and that was heaven - I have a minor degree in Art History, so that was SO amazing to see so many original masterpieces in person. Of modern artists, I really like Mark Ryden - not his gothy stuff, but the 1950s kitchy weird stuff like the Bunny Butcher and the Santa Worm. I love traveling - but I hate planning trips. If I need a vacation, I'll just go and figure it out when I get there. That way it's more of a surprise.
My personal favorite pick-up line is "Hey baby, does this rag smell like chloroform to you?"
I have no time for jealous women or arrogant men.
I dream about tornados almost every night. My favorite color is red. I have 21 tattoos. I collect absinthe spoons and antique German halloween decorations. I share a birthday as Evil Knieval, Katherine Hepburn and Arthur Miller.

My Interests

Amy Winehouse. I love her but I wish I could take some hedge clippers and chop that octopus off the top of her head. There's prolly a family of owls living in there.

I'd like to meet:

More of my friends on MySpace! Folks who hold music and art as close to their hearts as I do...: Olivia De Berardinis, David LaChappelle, Danielle Bedics, Masuimi Max, Banksy, Christopher Walken, Steve Buscemi, Parker Posey, Bernadette Peters, John Cleese, Lady Carol, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Silverman, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Mariska Hargitay, Uma Thurman.

Music:

THE DUALERS...my very favorite band in the world, absolutely worth crossing an ocean for!! Psychobilly, Ska and Punk!! Cramps, Ramones, Misfits, Operation Ivy, The Aggrolites, Nekromantix, Meteors, The Specials, Charley Horse, Lily Allen, Angry Samoans, Tremors, Sawed Off Sick, FlameTrick Subs, Reverend Horton Heat, Phantom Rockers, The Dead Pets, Rancid, Alley Dukes, Dance Hall Crashers, The Slanderin, Mad Sin, Dropkick Murphys, Madness, Minor Threat, Boss Hog, The Dead 60s, The Toasters, Skatalites, Aquabats, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mephiskaphiles, Bouncing Souls, Sublime, Mummies, The Independents, Koffin Kats, Demented Are GO, Pogues, John Spencer Blues Explosion, Billy Joe Winghead, Murder City Devils, Turbo ACs, Johnny Knox & Hi-Test, Tongo Hiti, Kingsized, The Butchers, The Pits, Jucifer, Josie Kreuzer, X-ray Spex, Jimmy and the Teasers, Subsonics, Tom Waits, Deadbolt, Dean Martin, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Henry Mancini, Bessie Smith, Louis Armstrong, Julie London, 1920s-40s New Orleans jazz.

Movies:

Forbidden Zone, Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, Delicatessen, Mad Max, Elephant Man, Metropolis, Blade Runner, Minority Report, Henry and June, Pulp Fiction, Ed Wood, Million Dollar Baby, The Aviator, Rubin and Ed, Young Frankenstein, Godfather I, Addams Family - the first one, Fargo, Romy & Michelle, Amelie, Shawn of the Dead, the Shining, Rosemary's Baby, Judge Roy Bean, Hang 'em High, Cool Hand Luke, Papillon, Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!, the Island, Deep Impact, Clockwork Orange, Suicide Kings, Heathers, Rogue Trader, River's Edge, Frankie the Fly, Das Boot, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, Being John Malcovich, Silence of the Lambs, Jaws I, The Hole, Ghost World, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Taxi Driver, Falling Down, Fight Club, American Werewolf in London, The Professional, Dancer in the Dark, Princess Bride, Slingblade, Once Upon a Time in America, Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile, Trainspotting, The Day After (1983), El Mariachi, Mars Attacks, Crybaby.

Television:

Heroes!! I'm totally addicted to that show, and Smallville. Guilty pleasure: America's Next Top Model (they do pretty damn creative photo shoots). I love CSI, Law & Order, Family Guy, The Simpsons, old cartoons--Max Fleischer and Tex Avery cartoons are my favorites. And old Bugs Bunny cartoons. I have a degree in animation--I find it fascinating.
I think there should be a reality show like The Real World, but with a cobra somewhere in the house. I would watch every episode to see which milktoast spoiled little trust fund brat finds the cobra. I can just imagine it: "Susie is such a bitch...now let me just take my laundry out of the washing mach--AAAAAA!!! A cobra!!!" Or during a "Bachelorette" show or "Pimp my Bride" they should release some tigers. Releasing tigers would improve any reality show. Or have a booby-trapped Real World house - with trap doors and random exploding things. That would rock. Neil!! Your bedroom is on fire! I miss the Young Ones.

Books:

Philip K. Dick, Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Bukowski, Kerouac. Unfortunately I don't read enough. I spend 10-12 hours in front of a computer screen every day, so in my leisure time, I'd rather not be sitting still. I'd rather be swimming or outside walking my lil dogs in the park.

Heroes:

Mr. Neutron , known for his ability to eat vast quantities of ice cream, Moleculo, the Molecular Man , and of course, the Beer Fairy. Who doesn't love the Beer Fairy? sigh... my heroes....
