There was a time When all on my mind was Love Now I find that most of the time Love's not enough…

About Me

Hmmm, what to say about me . . .My Resolutions for 2007 are: 1) To not get run over by people and taken advantage of. I’m going to stand up for myself and speak my mind, however good or bad that may be. 2) To phase out Beef and Pork from my diet. Cloning = Bad for you. 3) To have bigger (and better) diamonds than every other girl my age. 4) To make as much money and to have as much fun as is possible this year!I don’t fit in any particular clique. I’m not a Marina Girl, I’m not a hippie, I’m not a Generic Blonde Bimbo, I’m not Preppy, I’m not an Indie Girl, I’m not alternative but I’m not the girl next door either. I’m just me, a little mix of all of the above. What you see is what you get. Never underestimate me.I love wearing all black and really dark sunglasses, Climbing under my six blankets and comforters every night and getting warm, When people are honest with me (even if it's something I don’t want to hear), Shoes that cost as much as a car payment, and also shoes that don't, like: Converse, Vans, and Pumas, Reading the Chronicle every day, Good Champagne (Dom Perignon=over rated, Veuve Clicquot=under rated), Genuine People, The Dictionary, Walking fast on my way to work, Cotton Blossom lotion at bed time, The Ballet, Really large sunglasses (but not when people wear them inside and have "movie star syndrome"), Dancing in the rain, Dancing in general (even though I do so poorly), Long almost scalding hot showers, Pictures of a happy place or time, Running when I'm angry, Red nail polish, Thigh Highs, Four inch stilettos, Pilates, My job, Dressing like a Stepford Wife (but not being one), Playing arcade games with cute boys, Fancy Dinners at unique places, The smell of the ocean, Writing in my journal, Black mascara, Diamonds and other stones that sparkle, Jeans and white t-shirts, Driving fast with the sun roof and all the windows open so your hair gets messed up while singing with the radio at the top of your lungs (not that I do that ever…), Reading Chick Lit, Funky rain boots when worn with conservative business attire, "Alcoholic Shopping", Surprises (much to everyone's surprise), Sunny days, Tiny secret yummy places for lunch, Parrot tulips, Happy people with big smiles, and Curling up with a good book and drinking vanilla tea with Splenda in it while it's pouring rain outside.Oh, and apparently I'm "cheeky", which is I do believe a very accurate description.Things I dislike: Sweater Sets and Stereotypes.
Create Your Own

My Interests

Create Your OwnMy personal mantra that I live by is: There’s no time like the present, to buy a present . . . for yourself! Buying things that sparkle is my current fascination. Who needs a boyfriend to buy you Diamonds??? Newsflash: We don’t live in 1950 anymore.I used to really like shopping, but not as much anymore now that I work in retail. Trying new places to eat seems to top the list most recently. My favorite thing to make for dinner is reservations. Other things include: Perfecting my public transportation skills, Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease workout videos, Reading, Adding music to my ipod, Dancing and Drinking (always done together), Writing (the actual act of doing so), Painting my nails, Attempting to gain some kind of domestic skills, and Buying more shoes.

I'd like to meet:

(If they weren't dead . . .)Audrey Hepburn “My look is attainable. Women can look like Audrey Hepburn by flipping out their hair, buying the large sunglasses, and the little sleeveless dresses.”Grace Kelly “Hot Diamonds is a gorgeous product. I am a huge fan of its versatility.”Ingrid Bergman “A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.”and Cary Grant "My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can."

Music:

A very eclectic mix. Lots of old, lots of new, some in the middle, and some random things like classical and French.Jack Johnson, Depeche Mode, She Wants Revenge, The Stills, Sean Lennon, Sondre Lerche, The Fray, Nora Jones, Pete Yorn, Phantom Planet, Apostle of Hustle, Madonna, Michael Buble`, Sixpence, Jimmy Durante, G. I must say, the mind reels”.and ANY Alfred Hitchcock movie except The Birds. (I had a very horrible childhood experience, saw it for the first time when I was three)"They're coming! They're coming!"

The Devil Wears Prada is my favorite. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Year Of Yes, Shopgirl, The Notebook, The Importance Of Being Ernest, The Five People You Meet In Heaven. I am always in need of suggestions of books to read, if anything comes to mind please let me know.

Heroes:

Strong Women."I have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is; I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat." ~Rebecca West, 1913"Feminism encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." ~Rev. Pat Robertson
