12 yrs. old, christmas, given a choice between banjo and guitar, i chose banjo. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------- next year, added mandolin. -------------------------------- couple years later, mid-80's heavy metal the only way montgomery alabama allowed to rebel, i started guitar. and stopped taking lessons. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------- higher education... HIGHER education brought about experimentation, meeting with other like-minded freaks, a successful local band, and the eventual impregnation, marrage and divorce of a fellow student. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---- several angst filled years as fodder for lyrics. ---------------------------------------------------- inclusion in the local film and music scene, working and gigging with several kick-ass local musicians (including many who have gone on to more success outside of 20th Street South), composing and collaborating with talented minds, and finally marrying the girl for whom i've carried a torch since our health and wellness class; here i am.
