I'm TaRon Lockett! I'm a drummer from Dallas, Texas. I am currently in school at Southern University.I've been BLESSED to play with some artist such as Candy West, George Huff, Lil Zane, Whodini, Cherelle, Phil Lassiter, Lamar Campbell, James Fortune and Fiya, David & Tamela Mann, Kim Burrell, Dorothy Norwood, The Andrews Brothers, Gods Property, Tommye Young-West, Steven Ford, Tim Clifton w/ Purpose, Myron Butler and Levi, Niyoki, DeNetira Champ, Geno "Junebug" Young, Greg O'Quinn, Steve Lawrence, Tom Braxton, Tim Britten and Shabach, Marvin Sapp, Johnathan Slocumb, Rance Allen, Angela Blair, Carolyn Traylor, Carmen Rogers, Leon Lacy, Madukwu & Tracey Chinwah, BK Douglas, White Lotus Society, Shazam (from H-TOWN) and some more folks.I have also had the pleasure of playing with musicians such as Benard Wright, Bobby Sparks, Shelly Carroll, Keith Anderson, Chuck Smith, Braylon Lacy, Todd Parsnow, Shaun Martin, Robert Searight, and some more Dallas All-stars(as Phil calls them). I am really into music and Robert "Sput" Searight labeled me as the " young cat that knows tunes".One of my top influences is my bro Gino Iglehart. I recently just played a David Eden bass clinic with Maurice Fitzgerald. I really learned in the past few years that being a "gigging drummer" requires disipline, placement, and KNOWING tunes.
