God. Family. Friends. Work. Dance. Writing. Teaching. Learning. Counseling. Running in the rain. Rockclimbing. Good Music. COFFEE. Rockin out in my car (my second home!) These are gifts given to me.
I understand that I must freely share the gifts God has given to me through service and outreach. I now understand that using your gifts is a form of worship to God. I'm thankful for this revelation. Nothing touches me more than witnessing the charity
in action that others generate. I give much respect to those who are generous about the gifts bestowed upon them. God bless them.
(Yeah---Rockin' out in my car is a gift!!!haha)
I love hangin' out with friends and family in LA, LBC, OC, and San Diego! No place on earth like Southern Cali! It's all here!
As teachers, we lead by example. We hold it within our power to empower. It is a great responsibility, but where much is given, much is required...Work at Golden West College Adult Transition Program is a blessing!
2nd job, as a Behavior Intervention Specialist for kids and adults with developmental disabilities for the past 11 years, has been a valuable learning experience!

"A Cypher is a force so powerful, moving my imagination, setting my mind free...Causing visions to manifest...

Dance is the language of inner-expression through physical movement, encompassing the perpetual sway of rhythmic sensations brought to life by the sporadic patterns in all music...there are no limits...
Only the perception of what is, and what is truly possible.
Those who dance, or aspire to dance, long to express themselves creatively, adding color to life. Hip Hop Culture embodies artistic expression, individualism, and community. Music sets my mind and body free, causing me to see endless possibilities to eminate the song inside me. Music is the background of my lifescape: from rock and jazz, to funk and soul, sometimes I have to let the music take control and just move to the groove... I'm not here to prove anything in this world, I only have something to say, and that is to "seize the moment---that's right---I just want to seize the day." This is what is interesting to me. I'm interested in others who feel the same way.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Individuals who use their gifts and talents to uplift, encourage, and bless others. The world is a better place when we realize that we are not alone, and that we are all interdependent on each other in some way.

Bboy Don's Dance Bio:
Don Sevilla (B-boy Don)
Don began his dance journey in 1982, when he became fascinated by the street dance style known as “popping.†The creative aspect of forming illusions with the body is what attracted him most to this style. In 1983, he was drawn to the more acrobatic and physically demanding dance style of “breaking†because some of the moves resembled "Kung Fu," another art form Don was passionate about. Since then, his love for dance continued to grow and evolve. After receiving his BA degree in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine in 1992, Don has worked as a Behavior Intervention Specialist and Special Education teacher in addition to his professional and community work in dance education. He believes that dance is a powerful medium of artistic expression that helps foster character development, self-confidence, and self-esteem for at-risk youth. He has instructed for community outreach programs including Homeland Cultural Center of Long Beach CA, Peace4Kids-Watts, CA, Orangewood Children's Home, and Kidworks of Santa Ana, CA. He has taught and choreographed for various dance teams and companies throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, including beginning through advanced workshops in popping and breaking at JayVee Dance Studio, Project Hope, CSLA H4 Conference, and Future Shock LA. Don has served as co-artistic director for "In Rhythm With Him" Dance Ministry of Orange County(2005-2008), currently serves as Artistic Advisor for Culture Shock Los Angeles, and is an active member of Mosaic Urban Poets Performing Arts Company, having toured the nation performing in New York, Chicago, Seattle, Alabama, and Las Vegas, in addition to various venues throughout LA, San Francisco, and San Diego. Bboy Don is also a part of the "Funny Bones Popping Crew/Soul 2 Soul Breakers" family who have performed on the DUB Tour, LATV’s Hip Hop Show, Mun2, Hot 92 Jams Summer Concert Series, and the upcoming hip hop film, Platinum Illusions. "Dance is God's gift to me...So I will teach it, share it, express it and...live it." (Bboy Don 2008)
