I just spent my 20's having children. My 1st was born when I just TuRNED 18. Some days were great and some were rough but I can honestly say there were more good then bad. Right now in life I'm setting new goals because the one's I set as a teenager has pretty much happened. I wanted lots of children and I wanted to be married. I had to break a certain cycle in my family. These woman would have children and just stay and live with these men forever waiting for him to pop the question.These men never stuck around long enough 2 see there children grow. I vowed I would not do that.(not that were wrong 4 being like that) I just vowed 2 myself that when I found the right one for me & I would pop the question myself. Who knew it woulda been my best friend. We were friends for a long time. No friends with benifits type thing, just real friends. We were both in other relationships, that we tryed real hard to keep. As u can see they didn't work, cause were together now. We've been together for 9 yrs and married for 6 (October 8th) There has been a couple of people sending instant messages asking questions about marriag and what it's like. There r up's and downs but we have alot more ups. It's a struggle because u have 2 diffrent people who grew up diffrently. We make it work because we love each other and that's what matters the most. We have learned over time 2 communicate our feelings towards each other. We really try not 2 hold back. When u don't communicate trus' a whole lotta B.S. can occur... My advice 2 others is talk shyte through. I got that advice at my wedding but didn't take heed 2 what was being said. I realized later on as tyme went on. you must talk 2 your spouse about everything.
