Loudmouth Soup

Gone fly fishing.......

About Me

Loudmouth Soup hail from Leeds, which lies due east of Nashville, Tennessee and North of Muswell Hill, London. The Soup are an wonderful Gumbo of Country, Folk, Psychedelia, Vaudeville and various other unlikely sounds.
The Soup aren’t really bothered about the eighties revival, our historical years of choice being 1865 and 1968 - both of which we remember fondly.. Over the last couple of years we have landed support slots with the likes of: Duke Special, James Yorkston, Broken Family Band, King Creosote, Frank Turner, The Blood Arm, The Handsome Family, Jeff Klein and others. The band have also recently headlined the fabulous Whats Cookin’ and Alan Tyler’s legendary ’Come Down and Meet the Folks’ nights in London. In 2005 ’The Soup’ released their debut self financed single ’Skydiver’ to great press reviews. This resulted in the song being picked up by Channel 4 and used as the title music for ’A Bears Tail’ (Bo Selecta) series. The band appeared performing the song on the opening credits of each episode and a full length promo video for the song appears on the official series DVD release..
