Giovanni Moscatello believe it or not it`s his real name. His roots are Sicilian but hes born and raised in Germany. He grew up with electronic music. As a child he listened to the music of his brother Fillipo known as DJ Naughty. So Chicago House and Detroit Techno has been early influences. 1993 he began to work in a record store and two years later he started to spin the turntables as a DJ. His sound is unique a combination of his Italian temper and his classic roots driven by his love for music and feeling for the crowd. 2004 his first release came out on Data Error Records featuring Adrien Walter (Sex in Dallas). Since 2005 Giovanni Moscatello runs his own booking-agency "Couture Booking". He is also promoting events in Berlin. Some interesting events are scheduled in May and later in the summer. Check the website for upcoming dates and more information. Giovanni is one part of DONNER & MOSCATELLO. The idea of working together with Martin Donner came up when both met each other at a DJ gig and sharing a drunk night. They came along perfectly well - both on a personal and a musical level. DONNER & MOSCATELLO present modern electronic dance music, always putting the power and will for party first. Style is the key. Due to their versatile musical interests and their feeling for the audience - both artists are disposed to excessive parties and musical surprises.
