We Bring Deferred Dreams to Fruition

About Me

André Maurice Press, LLC was founded in 2006 by Timothy Prolific Jones in loving memory of his cousin, André Maurice Veit, who passed away at the age of twelve. The two collaborated on many artistic ventures during their childhood and early adolescence. André was a dancer, athlete, and writer whose premature death never gave him the opportunity to fully blossom. André had a huge impact on Timothy, and it was the pain of his passing that first caused a twelve year-old Prolific to pick up a pen to channel his grief.

The mission of André Maurice Press, LLC is to provide an outlet for the published voices of the hip-hop generation. We are dedicated to cultivating talent, and providing writers a means through which to transform their expression into a form of economic empowerment. We believe that the ability to create is a blessing, and that we are vessels given the ability to touch souls through our craft. We believe in encouraging and developing artistry and writing abilities of young people, and providing them instruction in how to use their art as source of revenue while remaining true to their community. We produce high-quality, unique publications that range from chapbooks to full length releases. We bring deferred dreams to fruition.
