If you are a man and have a ponytail or hair long enough to wear one, you are definitely not a candidate.
I'm not going to provide you with a list of obscure, underground bands who are too cool to want to be famous, because frankly, I don't know of any. If I like a song, band, or artist, you have probably heard of it/them/him/her. I have a life and I listen to the radio to find new music. I don't have time to read OC Weekly and attend gigs at back-alley coffee shops on the off chance that I might enjoy whatever live music garbage happens to be featured that night. I like all kinds of music and am just as likely to belt out the lyrics to a ghetto rap song as a sappy love song by the Rascal Flatts.
Anything that is funny, clever, dramatic/sad but in a way that makes the film good, or romantic in a realistic way. Not a big fan of action, war, mafia, or movies based on historical events.
Basically all of the stuff other people call ridiculous, unreal garbage. Unlike most people, I don't have the patience for shows with witty humor (such as Simpsons or Family Guy). I guess it is because I have to think too hard to get the joke before I can laugh, and that's too long of a process. I prefer to watch shows where I can laugh at/analyze/wonder about people because they are so blatantly "off." I don't follow political shows because I prefer to think for myself on issues rather than form my opinion based off of whether the information came from CNN or FOX.
To be completely honest with you, I have not read a book, let alone a good one, in several years. I have been swamped with textbooks the last 5 years of my life, and I barely read those either. However, I do remember reading The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton when I was 11 - by choice. I think that entitles me to a free pass from leisure reading for about 15 years.
