About Me

Carl Damone is the drummer and vocalist of the popular rock, punk/funk, country/alternative band Carl and the Road Dawgs. He also performs as lead singer of the world famous Road Trip Jones based out of North Alabama.Growing up in the very musical area of Muscle Shoals Alabama, Carl has worked with or opened for such artists as the Temptations, Slick Nickel, Rare Earth, Merle Haggard, T.G. Sheppard, Cooter Brown Band, T. Graham Brown, Shenandoah, The Chaney Gang, LSD-30, Ronnie McDowell, Confederate Railroad, Handshake Promise and many many others. Carl plays Yamaha Drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vater drumsticks, LP Percussion, Martin guitars, Elixir strings, Shure Microphones, Hohner harmonica's.
