I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a fun, outgoing, random, intelligent, professional copywriter working for a publishing company in Baltimore. I take my work very seriously and I take my play time just as seriously.
I'm outwardly cynical yet internally hopeful and I have a large circle of friends and acquaintances who are the center of my world and my greatest source of creative energy.
It's taken me about 32 years to feel truly comfortable in my own skin. I accept life's difficulties with a grain of salt and have developed a knack for finding the humor in any situation. It's made me a happier more positive person and I look forward to seeing what life's gonna throw at me on any given day.
I live for the outdoors, live music, good food (both cooking it and eating it), good wine and I think laughter -- mine, yours or that of a passing stranger -- is the best sound and the greatest feeling you can have with your clothes on. I go to great lengths to make other people laugh and appreciate others who do the same.
I enjoy a good debate on anything from politics, to music, to why the chocolate cream Oreos have the same ingredients as the regular ones. But be prepared for a heavy dose of sarcasm.
Well, I think that's all I've got. If you've made it this far, by all means, drop me a message. I love to meet new people, so don't be shy.

My Interests

The fine art of conversation -- analyzing, philosophizing, theorizing and discussing anything and everything. Live music, local music. Being outdoors -- hiking, biking, running, relaxing. Yoga, working out, making out, scaring children. People-watching. Fine dining, cooking good food, drinking good wine, reading good books, having good sex. Bar hopping, watching movies, Family Guy, thorwing darts, shooting pool (poorly), being social, meeting new people, eating paste and making people laugh -- a lot.

I'd like to meet:

Fun people, smart people, people who "get it." Anyone who's ever been referred to as eccentric, odd or interesting -- or enjoy being around those of us who have.

People who are into live music and can turn me on to new bands, sounds and genres I've never heard before. Outgoing people. People who enjoy meeting new people, learning and experiencing new things and who are as thriving on being alive as I am. People who actively loathe, fear and shun unnecessary drama, pettiness and minor trivialities.

People who can find humor in even the darkest of situations. People who enjoy the occasional potty joke...or the not so occasional potty joke.

People who don't think Taco Bell at 2am is gross. People who'll wait around for that 2nd flush, just to be sure. People who'll smile at a complete stranger just to see them smile back.

And...well...you. Oh, and your mom.

Jack Welsh’s rules for success

Jack Welsh was the longtime CEO for General Electric. He had just four rules for success that I’m thinking I might adopt as my own: 1. Control your destiny or someone else will. 2. Face realit...
