So what to say? I’m the craziest person that I’ve ever met. I was born and bred in Detroit, moved to Florida when I was 11, and moved to Baltimore for work almost four years ago. Will I move back to Florida? Probably. When? Don’t know. For now I’m just trying to live each day at a time in this self-proclaimed charm city. (Charming by whose standards anyway?)Update: After, almost five years, I've officially moved back to Florida and am living in my parent's guest room. My cool factor has just gone way down but at least I'm home.I have an insane passion for Chihuahuas, which despite popular belief, are REAL dogs and are pretty damn cute if I must say. If you’re interested in a doggy play date, hit me up. Bonus points if you’re a cute guy! But a fair warning, my dog will probably kick your dog’s ass so don’t contact me if you have a sissy dog. Most people would describe me as high maintenance, but I tend to disagree. Doesn’t everyone have a personal masseuse, hair stylist, acupuncturist, and therapist? I love making people laugh and enjoy being just plain silly. I’m charming, witty, sarcastic and VERY humble. Warning: I’m high energy and borderline offensive so don’t ask to be my friend unless you have a sense of humor. Speaking of which, I’m a little old fashioned and don’t “accept†requests on the first date. How about an e-mail first? I’m not asking for a life story, but even a line like, “you just seem like a cool person†will suffice.
You are Strength
Courage, strength, fortitude. Power not arrested in the act of judgement, but passing on to further action, sometimes obstinacy.
This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.
