About Me

D.J. Burebista started dj-ing in the year 2000 in Prague, at first reggae/dub because he already had the records. Sometimes he inserts soca and african music into his reggae sets as well. He can also play drum & bass. In the Summer of 2005 he moved to Bucharest, Romania (he is Romanian). He has developed a heavy echo-chamber dub sound for his reggae sets.D.J. Burebista has recorded several albums on which he plays all of the instruments and does all of the drum programming. The two dub albums should be out in about one or two months.
His other project is called Phantom Airship, and most of the songs have distorted electric guitar with electronic rhythms, with occasional voices in the mix. The song "sendung" is only an excerpt, the whole song clocking in at 34 minutes and 12 seconds. The other song on here from that project is not about violent revolution but about internal change, or perhaps a musical revolution. This project has been put temporarily on hold awaiting video production.D.J. Burebista does not use computers for the creation of rhythms or recording of music. The CricketSoda Myspace Editor!
